Collins College, formerly known as Al Collins Graphic Design School, started out focused on visual communications but has also been offering certificates, associate and bachelor degree programs in technology and media arts since 1997.
The Associate of Arts Degree in Visual Communication takes approximately 18 months to complete. Learn traditional and computer-based design concepts and technical skills necessary for the professional Graphic Designer. You can also specialize your education in one of the following areas: Animation, Media Arts, Game Design, 2D/3D Media, Multimedia Production, Digital Video Production or Graphic Design.
Collins College offers an Associate of Occupations Studies degree in Personal Computer/Network Technology you can complete in about 15 months. The program is designed to prepare you for a variety of entry-level positions working with IBM-compatible and Macintosh systems. The Bachelor degree in Network Technology takes about 30 months to complete. The Bachelor program gives you the education to become a Systems Administrator, Computer Support Specialist, Local Area Network Engineer or Information Systems Manager at a higher level than graduates from the Associate of Science Degree in Personal Computer/Network Technology.
